Oliver Stone's docudrama about our incumbent Prez is neither exciting nor has the far-fetched theories that made JFK worth watching. Instead, it's an extremely watchable 2.5 hours that gives you solidity on the theories you already had about Bush's presidency, and a wild sense of sympathy that you would have never expected to feel for W. He seems to be a very smart man who really just wanted to do some good in the world.
Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Banks, and James Cromwell are solid leaders of an otherwise cartoonish cast.
